John Eliot
	Author and leading consultant / expert in peak performance

Dr. John Eliot is a leading consultant and expert in peak performance. Combining a doctorate in Sport Science in which he studied under best-selling author and renowned performance consultant Dr. Bob Rotella-with over 15 years experience as an elite athlete and coach, Dr. Eliot helps performers at all levels reach their goals.

Since 2000, Dr. John Eliot has been Director of Sport Management and Performance Enhancement at Rice University. While at Rice, he has taught over 800 students on the scientific principals of peak performance and has worked with many of Rice's intercollegiate athletic teams, including the now nationally ranked baseball, swimming, tennis, track, volleyball, and golf teams.

After five years (1993 - 1997) of training under Dr. Bob Rotella, Dr. Eliot served as Assistant Director of Sport Psychology (1997 - 2000) with Dr. Rotella at the University of Virginia. While working and studying at the University, Dr. Eliot helped the Virginia baseball team go from last place to an ACC Championship in just 1 year. One of Dr. Eliot's assignments while at Virginia was helping the Montreal Expos implement a Performance Enhancement program for their minor league system. The Expos eventually captured 4 of 6 Minor League titles and won the prestigious Major League Baseball Organization of the Year award. While working with Dr. Rotella, Dr. Eliot consulted with the likes of PGA Tour professionals David Duval, Davis Love III, Nick Price and Tom Kite.

Dr. Eliot graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Dartmouth College. While at Dartmouth, Dr. Eliot was a two-sport athlete in baseball and rugby, being awarded the Dick Cody scholar-athlete award. In his senior year, he earned honorable mention All-American honors in rugby.

Dr. Eliot currently writes and lectures extensively on what it takes to be the best. He was appointed Editor-in-Chief of the cutting edge Journal of Performance Enhancement. Among his other clients are: the Chicago White Sox, the Washington Capitols, USA Baseball, the University of Virginia Medical School, NASA, USA Track & Field, Hospice of America, the Cowboys Golf Club, Merrill Lynch, Xerox and numerous individual performers.
